YO

Hans é um trabalhador alemão que chega a uma pequena aldeia na ilha de Maiorca para aí viver. Não obstante, descobre que vai substituir um trabalhador alemão chamado Hans que deixou a aldeia com suspeições sobre ele. Hans tenta manter um dia-a-dia normal mas à medida que se vai ambientando, mais se sente perseguido pelas memórias do outro Hans. Ele sofre uma crise de identidade que o aproxima do seu verdadeiro problema: ele próprio.

Hans is a german worker who arrives to a village in Majorca to live there. He founds out nevertheless that he is replacing a german worker called Hans who left the village leaving unspoken suspicions behind him. He tries to keep a normal every-day-life but more he gets into the village life, the more he feels haunted by the old Hans memories. Everything leads him closer to the real problem: himself.

Rafa Cortés
Nascido em Maiorca em 1973, Rafa Cortés foi assistente de realização de cinema e publicidade. Dirigiu duas curtas-metragens, "Cómo ser Federico Fernández" (How to be Federico Fernandez) and "La leyenda del Sevillano" (The legend of the Sevillian), assim como publicidades e videoclips. “Yo”, escrito em conjunto com o actor Alex Brendemühl, marca a sua estreia na longa metragem.

Born in Majorca, Spain, in 1973, Rafa Cortés worked as an assistant director for many years, both in feature films and advertising. He has directed two short films: "Cómo ser Federico Fernández" (How to be Federico Fernandez) and "La leyenda del Sevillano" (The legend of the Sevillian), as well as several commercials and music videos. Together with the actor Alex Brendemühl, he has written "Yo" (me), his first feature film.
