Once upon a time, a cruise on the Queen Elizabeth II was the ultimate in luxury, available only to the wealthy. But times have changed and the ship is filled with passengers from all walks of life, nearly all English and nearly all elderly. Today, average English pensioners fulfil the dream of their lives by travelling on its board. We get to know them better during one of such cruises. Social observation becomes a pretext to tell a bitter-sweet story about love and passing away.
